A breeze of vulnerability leading to an adventure

My first blog so bare with me! =)


A new hair color a new season, learning the difference between happiness and success. Happiness and success don’t always belong together, just because u have money doesn’t mean you are successful either. As King David put it the joy of the Lord is my strength, I was raised with the mind set that if you have money you are successful and are of course happy because of the money, security, and stability. Over this past three weeks the Lord has been showing me and teaching me other wise. A man that is 33 works at sport shop but writes music is happy because His joy is in the Lord, he is willing to let it all go there is nothing to lose, but to this world he has everything to lose there is no success what is he doing with his life and he should be clinging to that job for dear life. For once in my life I am not sure of what is next, no idea what the Lord has for my future not sure of what my “career” will look like, but one thing I am sure of is that I will be happy putting the Lord first and serving as He calls. There is a freedom in not knowing what is to come, the freedom of being able to leave everything behind because I have absolutely nothing to lose but only God to cling onto. There has always been a fear in vulnerability but this time there is a freedom a feeling that this will definitely be leading into a beautiful adventure. And so this begins a breeze of vulnerability leading to an adventure.
